Educators throughout Orange County have the opportunity to present students and their families ways to live happy, healthy lives by partnering with WYS. Through our school-based programs, we provide collaborative, high-quality and timely mental health services.

WYS and Educators sourcing each other has a real impact on the community.  Students are thriving!

  • 95 percent of participants agreed that a WYS program helped them improve their relationships with their families and peers

  • 97 percent of participants agreed that as a direct result of the services they received from WYS, they are better able to take care of themselves

  • 61 percent improvement in classroom behavior grades

  • On average, the number of discipline referrals in schools declined by 64 percent

  • 44 percent of students increased their attendance

  • 13 percent of teachers reported an increase of two or more hours a week of teaching time due to a decline in disruptive student behavior

  • 44 percent of teachers reported an increase of four or more hours a week of teaching time due to a decline in disruptive student behavior

WYS provides program options, depending on individual needs of students, schools and districts. We frequently tailor our school-based services to fit the requirements of each school.

  • Level 1: Prevention – School-based programs to improve the behavior of all youth through onsite support, classroom workshops and outreach

  • Level 2: Individual Intervention – Counseling services, case management, and skills-based support groups

  • Level 3: Intensive Intervention – Crisis intervention, therapeutic behavior services, and home-based parent support services
