Success Story

Matt’s parents were drug addicts and he was sent to live with his grandparents. Matt was angry, oppositional and depressed when he began working with a mental health professional from WYS. His grandmother joined the Caregiver’s Group where she learned parenting skills and received support from other caregivers. Matt recently stated that he feels more loved and cared for since his grandmother started setting boundaries and reflecting a positive attitude towards him.
