Giving Tuesday, celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a global movement dedicated to giving back. It’s a day where people come together to support various causes and make a positive impact in their communities. At Western Youth Services (WYS), we invite you to join us in this meaningful endeavor by supporting our mission to provide vital mental health services for children, youth, and families.
How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Your contributions play a pivotal role in advancing awareness, fostering success, and strengthening our communities through integrated mental health services. We are committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals, empowering them to reach their fullest potential. To put child mental health donations into perspective, a $50 donation provides preventative mental health services to one child for an entire year.
Ways to Donate and Support
1. Donate Toys for Therapy
You have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of our clients by donating toys used as part of their therapy. These toys are the same ones your children play with and are readily available at retailers and online. Our annual toy drive and year-round donations of toys help us provide essential services to our clients.
2. Monthly Gifts
Monthly gifts, regardless of the amount, are critical to our ongoing efforts to support youth in our community. To make a difference and ensure a consistent impact, consider setting up an automated monthly donation. For more information or to initiate your monthly donation, please contact [email protected].
3. Matching Gifts
Many companies encourage their employees to donate to their preferred charities and generously match these contributions using their corporate funds. If your company participates in such matching gift programs, your donation to WYS can have an even greater impact. Request a matching gift form from your employer, complete it, and send it along with the receipt of your gift. We will handle the rest to ensure your gift makes a significant difference.
Be the Change: Support Youth Mental Health
Are you the caring adult who believes in every child’s potential? Take this opportunity to be a part of something meaningful. Your support of our nonprofit behavioral health program not only impacts individual lives but also contributes to building a stronger and healthier community.
Together, let’s empower the future and make a lasting difference in the lives of the youth and families we are committed to helping. Join us this Giving Tuesday to create a better tomorrow for our children.
