Western Youth Services
Mental Health is a complex picture made up of many, many parts. Success is almost always a result of big picture perspective and attention to detail. Outreach and assessment; identification of at-risk children; early intervention; individual therapy; intensive treatment; and continual monitoring create healthy, well adjusted children… who, in turn, grow into healthy, productive adults.
Since 1972, Western Youth Services has helped the most vulnerable children, youth and their families overcome mental health challenges. We provide the support and skills that allow them to fully realize their own potential. WYS is a non-profit mental health organization with expertise in prevention and early intervention, individual treatment and intensive care.
We break down the "invisible" barriers. It's often difficult to see how mental health challenges weigh down the efforts of schools and government agencies to solve homelessness, child abuse, crime and obstacles to education. It's even more difficult to see those who suffer-especially children. WYS knows that mental health disorders are frequently the"invisible barriers" to successful lives and better communities.
